Cooperation of our faculty

Erasmus studies

The faculty has won many new partners since participating in the program and provides its students with a variety of exchange places at different partner universities in Europe.

Students of the faculty can study at the host universities with which there is an ERASMUS cooperation agreement in their field.

PhD student workshop at KWI Essen

From 6th to 10th July - this time at KWI Essen - the Transatlantic Summer Workshop will be held by Constantin Goschler and Michael Wala together with colleagues from the CUNY Graduate Center, New York.

10 doctoral candidates from both sides of the Atlantic come together to discuss "Divided Societies? Regional Differences and Inequality in Europe and the United States".  

Meeting in Newcastle (UK)

A conference will be organized in Newcastle on October 29 and 30, 2020 with the participation of the Historical Institute.
Conference title: “Thucydides in the‘ Age of Extremes ’and Beyond. Academics and Politics. ”
